If you’ve not stayed at a ‘youth’ hostel for a while you in for a very pleasant surprise. Scotland’s hostels these days are a brilliant accommodation option: great value, ideally located, well equipped and super sociable.
When I was approached by Scottish Hostels to write some blogs for their new site I was delighted. I know their network well and they’ve great hostels, from wee hideaways, to purpose-built hostels. All offer a friendly welcome and a sense character hotels just cannot match no matter how hard they try. I’m writing about everything from family hostel holidays, through to history hunting in Orkney and hiking around the Cairngorms.
I’ve pooled my blogs for Scottish Hostels together below so you can dip in a learn more about some of the great things to see and do from hostels on their fab network. Have a great trip, slainte!
