I’ve been travelling to Croatia ever since the war took me there as a budding your reporter in the early 1990s. After peace returned to this spectacular corner of the planet it has been great to watch as Croatia and Montenegro have both emerged as tourist destinations.
Croatia is currently light years ahead of Montenegro, but they sport two of the most remarkable coastlines in Europe, not only awash with beaches, but also superb seafood restaurants and glorious historic towns.
I’ve been back out (I’ve been out over 20 times) for the Scottish newspaper The Sunday Post to bring readers the best of the coast, but also to take a little foray inland to discover the adventurous treasures of the Montenegrin hinterland. You can read a PDF of the article below. Enjoy, zivelji!
