I’ve been in love with Dubrovnik since she first bashed into my consciousness with the brutal Homeland War in the 1990s. I tried to reach her in 1992, but was thwarted by the war.
Over the years since I have visited this most graceful and unique of cities more times than I care to count. I’ve gone on to write six guidebooks to Dubrovnik and Croatia and 100s of magazine and newspaper articles.
On my most recent visit the tables were turned on my as I was the one being interviewed for a change, by Mark Thomas of the English language local media outlet, the Dubrovnik Times.
