As a travel writer for over two decades now, having visited over 100 countries, I can hand on tartan heart say that Scotland is still my favourite destination in the world.
I’m not just being biased here. I genuinely believe that this remarkable country, home to over 10% of Europe’s coastline and over 800 islands, is a world beater. It packs so much in and never rests on its hard won laurels with new attractions opening every year and others always innovating.
Group Leisure Magazine asked me to write a round-up of some of the great things going on in Scotland at the moment, which I was delighted to do.
