I LOVE seafood and I LOVE the Algarve. That is a big part of why I visit every year.

My base for this most recent research trip was arranged through the excellent Vintage Travel. I stayed at the massive Casa Idalina, a luxurious villa with loads of space and a heated pool. Its designer kitchen came in very handy when cooking up our own Algarve seafood feasts!
