Wild About Argyll

0

My mum was born in Dunoon and my parents first met in a local camera club, so I’ve always had a soft spot for Argyll and Bute. It helps that this truly remarkable corner of western Scotland is alive with epic scenery – we’re talking vaulting mountains and tumbling glens, giving way to sandy shores and a sprinkling of islands.

With this love and passion for Argyll and Bute I am delighted to be writing a series of blogs for Wild About Argyll. These cover everything from savouring the excellent new Taste of Place Food Trails, through to heading out on the new green train to Oban and a cycling adventure, and also a guide to hiking in Argyll and Bute. It’s a joy to share some of my passion for an oasis I think has an abundance to offer visitors, whether you are travelling with kids, or with a mate looking for adventure, or in a group looking to get away from it all. Or even solo. Trust me as I have done all of these and never had a bad trip to Argyll and Bute.

You can check out some of my blogs below. I recommend too having a good look around the Wild About Argyll website – it’s packed with great things to do in this brilliant part of Scotland. Slainte!
